I was skeptical about these because I've always only worn Converse. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to "break them in" like most other boots, which is why I liked my converse so much. Very comfortable and supportive and more important, no concrete stress on my legs or back.

This is the first set of Chippewa IQ series boots I have owned and so far I love them. This isn't really intended to be a boot for a Siberian expedition, but a wonderful 3 season or indoor work boot. The composite toe is a lot lighter than its steel counter part so its less fatiguing as the day goes on and is also electrical hazard rated.
One thing major to note is that it seems as if these boots run a little bit roomy with the "comfort toe" but thats perfect for me. I tend to have trouble getting a perfect fit since you can't find 1/2 sizes after 12 and I hover between a 13-14.
